The BCCI is busy clamoring for the 14th season of the IPL. Currently, the dates for IPL 2021 have not been announced but a mini auction will be done on February 18. In view of this, the players are also working hard on their behalf and are busy drawing the attention of the franchisees. On the other hand, the Australian Cricket Board has also made a big statement about its players playing in the IPL.

Cricket Australia said on Wednesday that it would issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to its players playing in the IPL as per the situation. The statement came a day after the Australian board canceled the South African tour. However, Australia has made it clear that its team will tour New Zealand for the series of five T20 matches on time. However, Steve Smith, David Warner, Jose Hazlewood and Pat Cummins will not be part of the team on this tour.

On the other hand, the players' managers have indicated that there will be no problem in getting NOC if a player is not injured.

Significantly, 19 Australian players participated in the 13th season of IPL played in the UAE. But nine of those players have been released by their franchise before the mini auction. They also include big names like Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell and Aaron Finch.
